I'm on windows 10, but my sound drivers are. I've tried 'CTRL + S' but it hasn't done anything. At first it just cut out, so I restarted the game and that seemed to fix it but it cut out again a few minutes later. I prefer FS mode so hoping that always can reopen it if minimized. Was 2nd time & few times couldn't so had to use Windowed mode by editing. It closes down to toolbar after Obsidian Entertainment logo appears, but last night was able to get it open when clicked there. FS been common problem in Kotor 2 & was for me 2, but last night got the FS working. Pic not following happens when in FS or Windowed mode. I deleted the 10mins clip from twitch, but have this brief Recorded clip to link. Yes the crew that made great Pillars of Eternity not long ago :) Using Settings that work with other Products that have in my Twitch library. Have that problem when Streaming Good ol Rpg Kotor 2 from Obsidian Entertainment. Have a good time playing kotor 2 and if you have any other problems with other games just add my MSN which is im on neally all day. Oh and by the way just incase you didnt understand the title this will solve neally all problems with kotor 2 on vista including sound. If this doesnt work for you then post back on this thread and i will help you through your problem.

here's what you need to fix your problem/s:ġ:Uninstall kotor 2 completely(including save games and configuration files).Ģ:Open your kotor 2 CD right-click on setup and click properties then click the compatability tab then click run as windows XP service package 2 and run as administrator.ģ:next start setup go through the usual stuff but instead of installing it in crogram files/lucasarts/kotor2, instal it in My Documents( make a folder called star wars kotor 2) and install it in that otherwise my documents gets cluttered.Ĥkay were neally there, next go to the desktop shortcut and right-click,then properties,then compatability and then click run as windows XP service pack 2 and run as administrator.ĥ:next go to and download the no cd crack (its the second one down in the top list) download that, UNRAR it using winrar or 7zip and apply it to your game directory in My Documents/star wars kotor 2.Ħ:finally, you need to go to this link 9360713 /fileinfo.html and download the mss32.dll(miles sound system) and then apply it to your directory in My Documents/star wars kotor 2, replace the mss32.dll that is already there but make sure to make a back-up just incase this doesnt work for you. Okay i only made this account because alot of people seem to be having problems with kotor 2.
